Underwriters join Brit from Zurich and RSA

Brit Insurance has appointed Edward Hanson as professional risks underwriter and Gary Suffolk as commercial combined underwriter.

Both will be based in Brit Insurance’s Birmingham office. Hanson has over 20 years of insurance industry experience and joins Brit Insurance from RSA Insurance where he held a number of senior positions, most recently trading underwriter, Professional & Financial Risks. He will continue to grow and develop Brit Insurance’s financial lines account across the Midlands region.

Suffolk joins Brit Insurance from Zurich Insurance where he was underwriter – major customer and international corporate team.
