Technology company Harlosh has launched new software that, it claims, can create a virtual insurance company within the space of 16 weeks.

The software, InsureConX, includes a full back office link-up. It has already been installed by Irish insurer Quin Direct and is being used to sell insurance in Northern Ireland.

Harlosh managing director, Richard Gordon said: "InsureConX does not restrict the customer in the way it carries out business."

The system has its own rating engine which can be used both for life assurance and general insurance and can be scaled to create simple and complex products.
