Lloyd's managing agent Wellington Underwriting Agencies has maintained its forecasts for its syndicate for the 2002 and 2003 years of account, it said.
For 2002 it sees capacity of £624.4m and growth of 10 to 15%, and for 2003, capacity of £699.1m and growth of 11 to 18%.
While losses for hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne have been incorporated into these estimates, the company said they mainly impacted the 2004 year of account and trading conditions remained favourable.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
