New group includes Willis UK, US and International mining businesses
Willis Group Holdings announced that it has incorporated its main mining businesses into one group practice.
The practice will include the UK, US and International hubs, and will report to Steve Hearn, chairman of Global Markets International (GMI).
The new group will also combine the leaders and teams of Willis' main UK, US and International mining businesses.
Hearn said: "With the Willis Group Mining Practice, we are streamlining our resources into one global practice whose expertise and knowledge can be focused on finding unique insurance solutions for our Mining clients’ needs, from exploration to extraction, through to processing and distribution."
