Willis Networks first in the country to get CII award
The Willis Networks staff have been awarded chartered broker status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
The Willis Networks team of 36 staff manage the Willis Commercial Network and Willis N2. It is the first broker network team in the UK to get the status.
“Increasingly insurers and clients will differentiate and choose those brokers that can display the highest standards,” said Willis Networks managing director Sara Fardon. “Setting ourselves apart from the competition is exceptionally important.”
Willis Networks wanted to increase the number of its brokers getting chartered status next year, Fardon added.
Around 10% of all chartered brokers in the UK are members of Willis Networks.
Willis Networks recently signed nine new members.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
