Looking at the massive costs associated with the ongoing insurance dispute surrounding policy wordings and the World Trade Center

You would have thought that getting proper wording in place as soon as possible would be a priority for both insurers and brokers.

Apparently not, Backchat has learnt this week. A Marsh Leisure facility with QBE, which provides cover for golf clubs, seems to have gone through its first 12-month renewal period without any policy wording put in place.

Must make paying claims a bit of a pain.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
