Insurer XL Catlin promotes from within across its European environmental team
XL Catlin has made several promotions across its European environmental team.
Dan Alexander Lothian is promoted to the position of underwriting manager, environmental for the UK and Ireland.
Lothian will be based in London.
In addition, XL Catlin’s underwriting manager, environmental for France adds Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) to his remit, while Simone Te Kempe becomes senior underwriter, environmental, for Benelux.
Adias Gerbaud, head of environmental, international, said: “European multinational companies are increasingly aware of the need to minimise their environmental exposures and to have effective risk transfer solutions in place, wherever they operate.”
She added: “As we look to keep growing our environmental insurance portfolio across Europe, we need to invest in our talent and further develop the team. Dan, Ludovic and Simone have all demonstrated tremendous expertise and been successful in their respective markets and I have full confidence that they will thrive in their new roles.”
