The managing director of Zurich retail financial services, has been appointed to the National Development Board of RYA Sailability.
Ian Owen joins the board of senior businessmen who have an interest in sailing and who have supported the charity.
The board includes Martin Scicluna, Chairman of Deloitte and Touche, Peter Harrison of GBR Challenge fame and Sir Peter Davies of Sainsburys.
