Began working with Carrot on Autocar Start package
Zurich Insurance Group has joined the underwriting panel of telematics broker Carrot Insurance.
Zurich is already the underwriter for Autocar Start, a package of driving lessons, a smart car and insurance from Carrot, and has commercial motor telematics product Zurich Fleet Intelligence.
It joins Markerstudy on Carrot’s main panel. Carrot said it had “ambitious volume targets” with each of its underwriting partners.
Zurich head of UK personal lines direct Phil Ost said: “We’re pleased to have this opportunity to develop our relationship with Carrot. We believe that education and monitored driving style is fundamental in helping younger drivers become safer drivers, and fully support Carrot’s policy of rewarding and incentivising good driver behaviour.”
