Launch aimed at mid-sized UK corporates

Zurich’s UK General Insurance (UKGI) business is launching a new strategy and product group for its mid-sized corporate business.

The value of insight will provide brokers and their customers with access to Zurich’s staff in areas such as supply chain; underwriting; mergers and acquisitions; risk management and claims management.

The new strategy and product group is aimed at customers in specific industry sectors with a turnover of between £5m and £300m, also offering support from independent professionals including loss adjusters, environmental risk consultants and valuers.

The new Zurich strategy and products will also provide brokers with a pricing model and regular bulletins about relevant critical risk issues.

The launch of the proposition will allow companies to safeguard their businesses through better understanding their true risk exposure.

Steve Green, head of corporate business for Zurich’s UKGI Broker division, said: "With key issues such as corporate governance; legislation and regulation; legal disputes; fraudulent activity and a growing compensation culture to worry about, business owners are increasingly needing help that requires thinking beyond traditional insurance provision."
