Personal accident and business travel boosted for brokers

Zurich has appointed Brian Armstrong as head of personal accident (PA) and business travel (BT), and Steve Coleman as senior PA & BT development underwriter for UK general insurance.

They begin immediately and Zurich says they will create a market leading proposition within Zurich's Broker Division.

Roy Standish, city manager, said: “This is an exciting development as we close the gap in our product set within the UK general insurance business.”

Armstrong joins Zurich from QBE where he was an accident and health underwriter for the London Market. He previously worked as a business development manager for ACE.

Coleman joins from ACE where he was UK sales manager for corporate accident and health. He previously worked for broker NBJ and Sun Alliance.
