CNA on the hunt for new European boss

CNA Europe chief executive Julian Enoizi has resigned to become boss of the Lloyd’s insurer, Heritage Managing Agency.

He will take up his new role later this year. Heritage was snapped up by US insurer Argo Group in May last year.

David Spiller, Heritage’s chairman, said: “With his exceptional leadership skills and broad perspective, we have full confidence in his ability to lead Heritage through its next phase of growth and development.”

Enoizi has been with CNA for seven years, joining in 2002 as country manager for France. He was appointed president and chief executive officer for CNA Europe in 2005.

Before working at CNA, he served in senior executive roles with AIG Europe and Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.

Nick Denniston, Heritage’s interim chief executive, will return to his position of chief financial officer having filled in for Richard Pexton since last December.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
