Goodwin Best first acquisition for BLS
BLS Insurance Services has acquired Goodwin Best Insurance Broker's book of business.
BLS, a member of the Purple Partnership, has made its first acquisition since it began trading in June 2010.
Brian McGlaulin, director at BLS, said: "We are delighted to be adding this book of quality customers so soon after our launch. Being part of Purple has helped to fast track our growth and we are committed to delivering quality service and products to all of our customers."
Steve Goodwin, former partner of Goodwin Best, said: "Following my decision to retire and sell the business, I received a number of offers, but what mattered most to me was that my clients went to a 'good home' and I'm confident that's what BLS will provide."
