New boss of Birmingham branch has four-year plan
Mark Williams, director of Heath Lambert’s Midlands business, is targeting £3m brokerage within the next four years
Williams, who started his role last week, said the Birmingham office currently generated about £1m brokerage annually.
“It is quite important as we grow to continue to recruit the highest calibre of staff. We want to become the pre-eminent adviser by concentrating on our strengths.
“I want to provide a compelling proposition and focus on service excellence, innovative solutions and independent advice without sacrificing it for profit margin growth.”
Williams, who has a predominantly sales background from his 20 years in insurance, was at Willis where he grew new business in the Midlands region.
Heath Lambert opened its Birmingham office in March for commercial business and employee benefits.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
