Biography:
Bob Scott is the executive director and group chief executive of CGU.

He is 57 years of age and was appointed to the CGU Board in June 1998, following the merger of General Accident and Commercial Union. Joining the South British Insurance Company, now part of CGU Group, in 1959, he worked in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia before moving to the United Kingdom in 1990. Scott joined the Board of General Accident in 1992, becoming its group chief executive in 1996.
