Fastrack Indemnity is launching an accident management scheme for cyclists under its Blue legal expenses banner.
Called Blue Cycle, the product will be sold by brokers and protects all cyclists, from the professional rider to the occasional user.
Tim Schools, Chairman of The Compensation Group, which owns Fastrack, said: "As we have previously developed a unique legal expenses product for the motor market, it was a natural progression for us to protect cyclists as well."
Schools was a professional cyclist and raced for the Peugeot team. He has remained closely associated with the British cycling scene and to that end, 2002 saw the launch of the Compensation Group Road Team.
