Aims to provide an enhanced local service

Specialist risk insurer ACE has opened a larger office in Watford.

ACE said the expansion reflects its desire to target more brokers and deliver superior support for their larger accounts.

ACE’s regional manager of Corporate risks, Jon Houghton, said: “The move is evidence of our regional strategy in action and working. While some insurers are relocating support structures back into London, ACE is actively growing its presence.”

“Watford, along with our 10 other regional offices, provides brokers with a truly local service that means we can better anticipate and manage risk,” Houghton continued.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
