Broker system provider Acturis has won the contract to provide Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) with a full commercial lines broking solution for its insurance division.
The contract forms part of an HBOS plan to increase its gross written premium from £8m to £80m within two years.
HBOS head of commercial insurance Jerry White said: "We have very aggressive expansion plans and see Acturis as providing the right solution for the broker of the future."
He added: "The system enables us to streamline and make things a lot simpler
"In many ways it gives us the benefits of a workflow system, and an automated management information system."
