Richard Finn appointed as non-executive director while Duncan Lummis and Darren Stockman receive new roles
Advent Capital (Holdings) PLC (ADV:), the specialist Lloyd’s insurer, announces the appointment of Richard Finn as Non-Executive Director of Advent Underwriting Limited, and changes to the structure of its underwriting team.
Richard has extensive experience of the core classes of business underwritten by Advent Syndicate 780 and with his knowledge will contribute to the Board’s overseeing of the Lloyd’s operations.
Advent also announces the restructuring of its underwriting team in conjunction with the 2008 business plan of Syndicate 780. Duncan Lummis will become Head of Reinsurance, and Darren Stockman becomes Head of Insurance. Lloyd Tunnicliffe continues as Chief Underwriting Officer.
Syndicate 780 will operate with an underwriting capacity of £135 million for 2008 with Advent Capital being the sole capital provider.
