There's no word on what they did to settle the argument, but Alarm chairman Kevin McGlone and chief executive Sheila Boyce came to a peaceful solution over their football rivalries.
McGlone, a die-hard Liverpool supporter, and Boyce, a lifelong follower of Wycombe Wanderers, looked certain to clash as their teams met in the FA Cup semi-final on the same afternoon the Alarm conference opened.
McGlone stayed to open the conference and AGM, while Boyce watched the match. McGlone had to wait for the television highlights to see his team triumph over Wycombe 2-1.
