Alexander Forbes has acquired Jersey-based Shepherd Group.
All 13 members of staff at Shepherds will join Alexander Forbes, bringing the company's total staff in the Channel Islands to over 70. The acquisition follows Alexander Forbes' acquisition in July of the Marsh insurance and financial services business.
Trevor Gray, managing director of Alexander Forbes Channel Islands, said: "This acquisition further strengthens our position in our core markets of providing high quality, in depth, professional services to both local commerce and private clients."
Shepherd Group serves major local businesses and high net worth clients.
