Lloyd's boss Max Taylor invited his chums in the market to get out their coffee mugs and have a good old chin-wag to take part in charity event “The World's Biggest Coffee Morning”.

The event, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, took place in 28,000 different locations across the UK.

Taylor said: “The Lloyd's market began in Edward Lloyd's coffee house back in 1688. It is fantastic we have the opportunity to pay tribute to its past and raise money for such a good cause.”
