Allianz boosts property team

Allianz Commercial has appointed John Dunn as its new underwriting manager, property.

Dunn will be responsible for assisting the property and risk control manager with the strategic direction of the account, portfolio management and pricing. He will lead the head office underwriting referral team and support branches to achieve their targets.

Prior to joining Allianz, Dunn held various positions at RSA for more than 10 years. His most recent role was multinational property underwriter, where his responsibilities included underwriting for large multinational clients, the large accounts focal point for Scotland, and acting as a distillery risks specialist.

Allianz Commercial property and risk control manager Catherine Dixon said: “John will work closely with local branches to support our strong regional network that keeps underwriters close to the customer. He also brings a vast amount of experience to Allianz and he will be a great asset to the team.”
