AMG has acquired Carr Greenwood Smith, a specialist commercial property claims adjuster, in a move which marks the company's second acquisition since its Management Buy-Out in October 2005.
In May 2006, AMG acquired Sigma Claims Solutions, a specialist liability adjusting business.
Carr Greenwood Smith will operate as an independent subsidiary and separate brand within AMG.
Kevin Wood, group managing director said: “This acquisition secures our position as a top 3 adjuster within the UK market and assists our growth strategy. Our core objective has always been and remains, organic growth, but this was a fantastic opportunity and too good to miss.
"Acquiring Carr Greenwood Smith will enhance our commercial claims capability and resources, make AMG a more rounded business and consequently more attractive to existing and new clients."
