Amlin completes Fortis acquisition

Amlin has today completed its acquisition of Fortis Corporate Insurance N.V. following the receipt of outstanding regulatory consent.

FCI will be renamed Amlin Corporate Insurance N.V.

Charles Philipps, group chief executive of Amlin, said: "This is an important acquisition for the Amlin Group, of a European commercial insurer with both the scale and high quality business franchise to act as a platform for future growth in the region.
