Amlin has appointed Peter Tavner as deputy group actuary.
Tavner joins from the Lloyd's Market Risk & Reserving Unit, where he managed an 11-strong team in the development and delivery of the Risk Based Capital system to the Lloyd's market.
Tavner has fifteen years' industry experience gained with Commercial Union (now Aviva), Swiss Re and Lloyd's.
