£70m less profit despite more than 50% rise in GWP

Amlin reported H1 premiums income had risen 56.4% to £1,486.2m from £950.1m but catastrophe losses cut its pre-tax profit from £177.1 last year to £107.6m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
