Patrick McMillen to control Irish and scottish broker relationships
Amlin has appointed Patrick McMillen as business development and broker relationship manager at Amlin UK.
He will have responsibility for managing and developing Amlin UK’s broker relationships in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Scotland.
McMillen joins Amlin from a medical diagnostic company but prior to this he was managing director of Aon's Northern Ireland operation until June 2009.
David Overall, operations director of Amlin UK, said: “I am delighted that Patrick has joined Amlin to strengthen our development team. His previous knowledge and dealings with Amlin, spanning over two decades, means that he understands our ethos and risk appetites.
"This combined with his knowledge of the Irish markets gives me great confidence that Patrick’s appointment will assist in taking our distribution development and growth strategy to the next level."
