Tony Holt takes leave of absence for medical treatment
Amlin has said that underwriting director Tony Holt is taking a few months off work in order to undergo medical treatment.
In his absence, the company said, Simon Beale and Brian Carpenter, currently divisional underwriters of Amlin's Marine Division and UK Commercial Division respectively, will jointly assume Holt's responsibilities.
Duncan Dale will assume day to day responsibility for the management of our Non-marine insurance and specialty classes, Kevin Allchorne will handle responsibility for the company's reinsurance classes. Both are highly experienced underwriters, who have been with the Group for respectively 14 and 15 years.
