The UK insurance industry will learn in the next week whether its plea for Government to pick up the bill for more terror risks has been heeded.
It is understood that the government will announce proposals to revamp the way terror risks are covered. Reports say that Pool Re may pick up the bill for chemical and biological risks. It already covers fires and explosions caused by terrorists.
Reports say that an announcement will be made before Parliament rises next week.
