Antur Insurance Services has acquired Carmarthen-based Edward Perry Insurance.
Under the deal the business will be transferred to Anthur's existing Carmarthen office.
Managing director Gary Stevens said: "This strengthens our position in our chosen trading locations. As a group Antur now employs over 60 people and place commercial and personal premiums of £14m"
"The next eighteen months will see further acquisitions reflecting changes in the industry.
"The ultimate aim has to be retention of clients going forward and we can demonstrate figures well ahead of the market averages, negotiations are in advanced stages for the next acquisition."
