Aon is talking to three US state attorney generals about a possible settlement of probes into its insurance practices, it has been reported.
The Chicago insurance broker is expected to reach settlements with the attorney general of New York, Connecticut and Illinois within a month, the reports said.
The broker said it has put aside $50m to settle the investigation, but there have been reports that the settlement could be much larger.
