Argyll Public Sector Services, part of Worthing-based Argyll Insurance Group, has been appointed as insurance broker and risk management adviser to Arun District Council in West Sussex.
Argyll has been awarded a three-year contract with an option to extend it to five years. It takes over from Jardines from December 1.
The chairman of Arun's finance, personnel and property sub-committee, Councillor Oliver Wingrove, said: "We were looking for an insurance advisor with a wide experience of local authorities' insurance needs who could meet our best value requirements."
