MGA on target to hit £5m GWP
Aro Underwriting Group has launched a new office in Tonbridge, Kent to house its expanding regional underwriting team.
The schemes and affinity specialist, which focuses on property and casualty for niche business and the open market, set up in June 2011.
Aro managing director James Bright said: “Aro has made significant progress in our first year of trading and we are on target to exceed £5m GWP for 2012. This is a great achievement from a standing start and we are delighted to have secured a number of schemes across a diverse range of trade segments.”
He continued: “We are planning a number of exciting developments over the next six months, with additional products, including the launch of our open market facility for complex risks, as well as recruiting new personnel. Tonbridge and the surrounding area have an established and growing regional insurance community and will make a great base for our regional operation.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
