Allianz exposure to the Asian tsunami will be limited, it was announced today.
The insurer said exposure would be limited to €22m (£15m) in claims.
The relatively low amount reflected the fact that much of property destroyed was uninsured, Allianz said.
Claims would not have a material impact on its finances, it said.
