Atrium Underwriting said its full-year results will be materially ahead of market expectations, boosted by 2004 actual results and improved 2005 forecasts for its Atrium Underwriters unit.

The company's wholly owned unit's actual results for 2004 exceeded the top end of previous forecast ranges while the 2005 forecasts have improved with hurricane loss estimates reduced for both syndicates.

Chief executive Steve Cook, said: "In addition, 2006 is looking to be an excellent year due to our very low loss incidence to date."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
