Norwich Union (NU) chief and former tank commander Patrick Snowball has given his backing to a project by the insurer to mobilise a “Dad's Army” of underwriters.

Retired underwriters are being drafted from golf clubs throughout the land to teach new NU graduates the skills needed to survive the harsh realities of underwriting.
