Boss Mark Wilson vows to lead a ‘progressive’ firm 

Aviva is offering parents up to one year paid parental leave.

Aviva will offer 26 weeks full basic pay to each parent within a year of the child’s birth.

The parental leave offer puts Aviva among one of the leading companies in the country for supporting new parents.

Chief executive Mark Wilson said: ”I want to live in a world where the only criteria for success is someone’s talent, not their gender. Treating parents equally will help make this happen.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
