£2bn will buy out interests in central and Eastern Europe

AXA completed a rights issue that raised around €2.07bn to fund potential buyout of minority interests in Central and Eastern Europe, Dow Jones reports.

The issue was 272% subscribed, with total demand at about €5.6bn, AXA said.
