Mark Huxley, former group services director at Axis, has launched a new venture, Ask and Consult.
He left the loss adjuster last month, after two years, to set up the consultancy company, and enrolled Axis as his first client (News, 12 October).
According to Huxley, his intention is to assist companies in maintaining the right levels of technical claims control. He also plans to work with their operations so they can deliver on service targets, and to help with branding and image.
He added: "This is the start of an exciting new venture and, for the present, I am keeping the growth plans of Ask flexible. I want to see where the real needs are and concentrate on putting a team around me that can best respond.
"I hope that during the coming 12 months I can establish good strategic relations with clients and work closely with them to make a real difference."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
