Another, possibly apocryphal, tale of a customer service cock-up arising from an offshore call centre has come to light.

This time, a policyholder was involved in a minor car accident, hitting a badger while driving.

The driver made a claim for the damage – to his car, not the badger.

But the rather confused customer service representative mistakenly thought the claimant was called Mr Badger and sent the paperwork to the site of the accident thinking it was his address.

Oh dear…
