Hertfordshire police arrest FSA-banned broker at Heathrow

Mark Hazelwood, banned by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for selling phoney insurance for doctors through his companies Synergys Ethical and Aquote was arrested at Heathrow, the Mirror reports.

Hertfordshire police officers arrested him from his flight from Kuala Lumpur. A police spokesman said: "A 47-year-old man from Whitwell, Hertfordshire, was arrested at Heathrow airport in connection with fraud-related offences. He is being questioned by police."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
