Oliver set to leave Barbon in six months

Martin Oliver Barbon

Barbon Insurance Group chief executive Martin Oliver resigned today.

Oliver will keep working as chief executive for six months until he has worked his notice.

Barbon chairman Tim Redburn said: “We thank Martin for his contribution and wish him well as he embarks on the next stage of his career.

“We will be making an announcement on Martin’s replacement as Barbon chief executive in due course.”

The news of Oliver’s departure follows Barbon’s overhaul of its top management earlier this month and the suspension of two senior staff last month.
