Barbon chair Tim Redburn to retire

Barbon chairman Tim Redburn will retire at the end of the month.

He will be replaced by current non-executive director Jamie Drummond-Smith, formerly a partner at Deloitte.

Drummond-Smith said: “Tim Redburn has contributed an enormous amount to Barbon during his five-year tenure as chairman and has provided invaluable support to all the group’s businesses.

“The board would like to thank Tim for his leadership, hard work and advice and wish him the very best for the future across his varied and time-consuming restructuring interests.

“For my part, I look forward to working with all my colleagues at the group over the coming years.”
