Mark Armitage becomes Barbon board director
Barbon has promoted property & commercial (P&C) division chief operating officer Mark Armitage to its board.
Armitage joined Barbon in 2010 from Towergate. He will assume a number of responsibilities from Nick Sharp, who is leaving the business.
Barbon chief executive Mike Ramsey said: “We are delighted to appoint someone of Mark’s calibre to the Board. The fact that we are able to promote from within demonstrates the strength of our senior team.
“At the same time we thank Nick Sharp for his contribution to Barbon and we wish him every success in his future career.”
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
