Hindman joins from Bluefin, Filsell from AXA

Barbon Insurance Group has strengthened its property and commercial division management team (Cadogan Keelan Westall) with two new appointments.

Amanda Hindman has joined as head of key clients, was most recently managing director of the real estate division of Bluefin, having also held positions at Norwich Union and other Aviva predecessor companies. 

She said: “Barbon Insurance Group is extremely well respected within the industry, so I’m delighted to be joining its management team and to be taking on the responsibility for developing stronger relationships with major clients and insurers.”

New head of enterprise and operations Sue Filsell is taking on Cadogan Keelan Westall’s small and medium-sized enterprises client team, as well as responsibility for compliance, risk, processes, procedures and professional standards across the business.

Previously she specialised in liability with Lloyd’s underwriters, managing her own multi-media business and, latterly working as operations manager at AXA Commercial Lines Reading branch.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
