Rover – the Road Runner mascot – was mystified this week when the motor trade specialist was accused by a broker of not making costs clear in its new documentation which was sent out in the wake of the Independent fiasco (see letters page).
Despite requests to the broker to produce the alleged offending paperwork, nothing more has been heard, leaving Rover with its tail between its legs in the doghouse and wondering if the particular broker was barking up the wrong tree.
