Be Wiser training centre opens doors to rest of industry

Broker Be Wiser has opened up its training academy to become available to the rest of the industry.

The Hampshire-based facility, which offers a range of courses for all levels of insurance professionals, was mainly used in the past by Be Wiser staff.

Associate director and head of training Crescens George said the broker has invested £1.5m in its training programme.

He added: “It will benefit the whole industry to have the most highly trained workforces possible and, having worked with the Chartered Insurance Institute, we can now offer bespoke training on a national basis.”

One of the courses offered is a fast track CII certification, which is an intensive 12-day course for individuals who have worked in an insurance company or broker for a minimum of six months.
