Beazley nabs underwriter from Willis

Lloyd's insurer Beazley has appointed Will Roscoe as an underwriter in its open market property team.

Roscoe has moved to Beazley from the global markets international division of Willis, where he was most recently director of broking.

Jonathan Gray, head of property at Beazley, said: “We lead more than three quarters of the large risks London market business that we underwrite and have a high retention rate because we combine skilled underwriting with responsive claims service.

"Will’s expertise and extensive experience of international business will be extremely valuable to us as we continue to expand and diversify our portfolio.”
