Julia Swain will help to develop Bennett’s online customer journey model
Bike insurance specialist Bennetts has hired Julia Swain as associate director for marketing and eCommerce.
Swain’s main responsibilities will be to develop the “customer experience model” across all Bennetts’ websites, and support Bennetts’ growth in new markets, such as scooter and classic bikes.
She joins from online travel company Expedia, where she was the senior director of product. Her role involved developing the full strategy for Expedia Affiliate Network’s (EAN’s) global business-to-business products, which helped partners to turn their web traffic into hotel bookings.
Bennetts managing director Vince Chaney said: “Julia’s extensive insight into digital and website strategy positions her well to lead Bennetts to its next stage of growth. We are committed to the UK biking community and providing great products and service to meet the demands of bikers.”
